I found you! Which was hard... I lost my sketchbook which had your info written in it, so I had to try to remember what your username was... good thing I had written so many of your business cards for you, eh?
I shall be back, I need to go set up this silly account now... *scampers off*
Glad to hear you're back. My trip home was... eventful. I took a Greyhound down to San Diego and then joined my brother on the Naval Carrier he works on, the U.S.S. Stennis, to steam back to Bremmerton. That was amazing~! However, sadly, I got REALLY sick the last day, as we were trying to pack up and leave the ship. I started puking at 3 AM, and was unconscious for large parts of the day, while still having to try and get home while puking sporadically. Sadly, with my being sick, I couldn't watch or carry my bags, and one of them got lost. Of course it was the bag that I'd just bought at the convention and it had all my gear in it; my PSP, my Nintendo DS Lite, my cell phone, my print portfolio, and my sketchbook! Thankfully, the cell phone has turned up, although it hasn't gotten back to me yet... *frowns* but at least it should.
Yeah... then the day after we got home, I had to pack and we all headed down to Cannon Beach, Oregon, for a Christian Conference retreat; which was really nice. My health slowly improved down there, although I had some nasty fatigue that stayed with me for the next few days. Hehe, nothing is ever easy for me. And now I'm sailing on our boat with my dad and brother.
Eww, sucks you had some kind of stomach bug while traveling. Losing all your valuable stuff, too. That trip was full of fail. So the guy who stole/found your bag is willing to return the phone but not your other stuff or what?
My trip was boring. Did nothing, had to blow 80$ on a bathing suit because none of the cheap stuff fit, and got a nasty sunburn cuz spray on sun screen doesn't work unless you waste half of the 7$ can on yourself. I did eat some really delicious mange key lime pies which made up for the boringness
While it may be full of fail, it was certainly eventful, and makes for a great story. And I'm ALL about the great stories.
I guess either the phone fell out of the bag, or if someone took the bag, then they tossed it out not wanting to have to deal with it... possibly?
Ouch, $80 bathing suit? Is this thing made of pure gold? Or... double as a death ray? Hehe. Ah, key lime pies are good, but sunburns are not. You went over there visiting family, yes? How was that?
It was made by Volcom =/ Who would have thought that I'd have trouble finding a bathing suit at the surf shops at the beach in Florida? It was such a pain. If the top fit, then I couldn't find matching bottoms that fit and vice versa. The super cheap bathing suits came attached to each other so I couldn't mix n match the tops and bottoms >< At least I'm getting 30$ back from my roommate since they couldn't get their cat to stop eating my original suit.
Sort of went to hang with my family. A few years ago my grandma gave us a 1 bdrm timeshare condo at Cocoa Beach. We swapped it for a 2 bdrm this year so all of us could fit. It kind of sucked cuz it was the 10 year anniversary since my grandma's death so my mom was mopey for a few days, and wouldn't leave the condo... I wish I didn't go since I was only there for 5 days and she ruined 3 of them. She wanted to "celebrate" the death day, and was really angry when we didn't want to. It's a little too morbid for me as I'd rather celebrate my grandma's birthday. My mom's obsession with her dead mom has made the rest of our family scared of ever bringing up grandma because it usually gets my mom angry/depressed. I hope people don't act like her when I'm dead.
I'm sorry about that. I don't understand holding such a long fascination with the dead, I mean... they're dead. I can understand if you miss them, or can get hurt thinking about someone who was close to you, but still... Did you at least enjoy Florida for all it's... what appeal does it have anyways?
Glad you're back though. Hopefully the rest of the summer proves a more enjoyable affair.

Mood: Overwhelmed
Fanime in San Jose and Expo in Los Angeles, anyone else going?
This is my first time selling in artist alley so stop by and say hello. I'll probably be bored and need someone to talk to other than my friend since sitting in the same spot for 6 hours isn't that exciting.
